Steven Williams qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2003. He has been representing motorcyclists injured as a result of road traffic accidents since 2002 and he has been involved in a number of high value claims. Steven is an experienced litigator, dealing with claims from inception until trial. Steven deals with claims of all levels and he specialises in claims involving catastrophic (life changing) injuries, such as amputees, paraplegia, brain injuries as well as fatalities. Steven prides himself on client care and his primary goal is always to achieve the best outcome for the client.
Steven enjoys running (taking on any distance from a local Parkrun to 100 miles – which he says is his way of relaxing!), travelling to interesting destinations and enjoying good food!

Mark Seccombe is an experienced litigator, claims handler and manager with over 29 years’ experience working in the personal injury sector. Mark has developed extensive knowledge of the personal injury sector and has strong trusted advisor relationships with commercial and private clients. He has worked for both insurance companies and for personal injury solicitors and has provided hundreds of injured clients access to justice and compensation awards. He has managed various teams and litigation departments for different firms throughout his long career and has been fortunate enough to have dealt with a wide range of different types of claims and injuries. Whilst specialising in Road Traffic Accidents he also has experience in Employers Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers Liability claims, Credit Hire, Recruitment and Criminal Injury claims and now has years of experience in regulatory and compliance issues.
Mark is keen film, sport, fitness and music fan and spent the earlier part of his life playing drums for various groups, recording and touring the UK.

Alice has worked within the personal injury sector since 2010, having worked as a claims handler and manager. As well as her role as Practice Manager, she also manages the Administration Team, New Client Team and MoJ Team, and is also involved in the Corporate Social Responsibility and Social teams within the wider group.
Alice enjoys taking part in sporting events, having completed Spartan, Tough Mudder and the 26 mile Thames Path Hike, and is a keen baker.

Martin Wassell is a Credit hire expert and has worked in the industry since 2008, representing both Claimant and Defendants. Martin has a wealth of credit hire and litigation knowledge and experience. Martin loves a wide variety of sport from golf to cycling. Previously this also included rugby, which Martin played at a semi-professional level in the English Nation 3 (South) League for Basingstoke RFU before hanging up his boots. Martin is very much a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids.

Kelly began her legal career in 2006, specialising in the field of personal injury and litigation. Kelly joined Bike Assist Legal in May 2019, advising and assisting motorcyclists who have had the misfortune of sustaining serious and sometimes life changing injuries and significant financial loss as a result of an accident that was not their fault. Kelly’s ultimate aim is to understand the needs of her clients and the impact the accident and injuries have had upon their lives so that she is best placed to guide them through the legal process of making a claim and achieve the best possible outcome for them.
Kelly is kept busy at home by her four children and two dogs, and when time allows she loves to go for long walks and has been known to run a half marathon or two!

B v Sabre Insurance Company Ltd (Settlement April 2024) Motorcycle claim. 4 part comminuted fracture dislocation to left shoulder, AP3 Open book pelvic fracture and bilateral inferior pubic rami fractures, left proximal tibial fracture, traumatic brain injury with cognitive impairment (concentration/memory problems), Grade 1 left renal laceration, pelvic side wall haematomas, mesenteric and bowel injury, lung contusions, adjustment disorder with anxiety and depressed mood. Settlement of £180,000.00
W v Co-Op Insurance (Settlement July 2022) Motorcycle claim. Multi-ligamentous injury to the right knee, head injury, fractured ribs, soft tissue shoulder injury, various other soft tissue injuries. Settlement of £199,000.00.

Holly has been working in the claims industry handling personal injury claims since leaving university in 2015. Holly joined the company as a fee earner handling a mixture of claims including those where an admission of liability had been received from the outset and those where liability remains in dispute. Holly also handles a mixture of different types of injuries including soft tissue injuries and ligament damage along with bony injuries including fractures. Holly manages the New Client Team and MoJ Portal Team.
Outside of work Holly is kept busy by her 2 young daughters who loves to go for walks in the woods, ride her bicycle and feed the ducks
One of the things Holly enjoys most about her case load is the variety of claims. No one claim is ever the same which means a mixed case load constantly expands your knowledge. Holly has previously secured monthly interim payments for one particular claimant to cover his rental payments over a period of months whilst he was out of work and has also reached agreements with defendant insurers to fund private surgery for other claimants. These cases are notable as these actions can really make a difference in the lives of those individuals and relieve a great deal of stress from an already difficult situation

Aidan first began dealing with credit hire in 2007. He has since gained 15 years’ experience in this and surrounding areas. Aidan has worked in defendant and claimant enterprises in both insurance and law. In so doing they have handled claims, led teams and developed processes and strategies dealing live hire and hire settlements. In addition, Aidan has headed multiple initiatives and projects to include those involving intervention, basic hire rates, MI, and continuous improvement.
Aidan is a qualified diver and loves exploring underwater worlds and more recently wreck diving. They are also a self-proclaimed geek who delights in 80s movies and music. Aidan runs a board-game nights at a local pub, playing games of decreasing complexity as the night goes on!

I have handled a mixture of both portal and non portal claims, with a variety of different level of injury. Eleanor leads the team who manage all MoJ Portal Claims.

Holly is a graduate in LLB Hons Law and has been involved in the personal injury claims sector since 2019. Prior to this, Holly worked as a Paralegal specialising in copyright, trademarks, and patents. In 2019, Holly made that transition to personal injury claims in Defence work dealing with accidents caused by household appliance malfunctions, and later joined Bike Assist Legal in 2022. At Bike Assist Legal, Holly has been a part of the New Client Team and Portal Team, during this time has worked up to a management position and now is the Team Leader of the New Client Team. Holly oversees the team on the initial stages of the personal injury claim and her main aim is to ensure both her team and clients are well-supported and satisfied throughout the claim process, aiming for the best possible outcome.
Holly enjoys long walks with her husky, interior design (her house is always a changing process) festivals and travelling!

Niamh worked in the construction industry for 10 years before joining Bike Assist Legal as the Administration Team Leader. Niamh is passionate about customer service and strives to ensure the team support the business as efficiently as possible. Niamh is also part of the Social Committee.
Niamh started figure skating when she was 3 years old, competing until 19. She represented Great Britain in Croatia. After stopping competing due to injury, she became a Figure & Free coach for a club in Watford.

Clare Curtis has worked in the motor insurance industry since 2003 and has 14 years’ experience as a Litigation Executive in a both a Claimant and Defendant capacity. Clare is an experienced case handler specialising in personal injury claims and takes pride in providing great service and practical advice to her clients.
Clare enjoys walks in the countryside (particularly if there is a pub at the end), cooking for her family and friends and travelling.

Rachel has worked in Defendant and Claimant PI and Credit Hire Litigation for over 14 years dealing with Motor, Taxi and Motorcycle claims. She started her PI and Credit Hire journey after moving from Devon in 2019 where she had started her legal career in Wills, Probate and Conveyancing. She prides herself on first class client care and believe that every Litigator's role is to achieve the best possible outcome for the client whilst making the process as stress free as possible for the injured party. After 18 months with Bike Assist, she was promoted to PI Fast Track Litigation Team Leader from the Credit Hire team, bringing with her her extensive Credit Hire knowledge and expertise in to the Personal Injury Department.
To ensure her mental wellbeing is well cared for she spends her time outdoors with her 2 children, husband and dog. When she has the time, she loves to draw and paint. When studying at Art College she had a mural commissioned and painted in a subway in Devon to celebrate her home town of Plymouth.
